work underway on TV cup movie

just wanted to let you guys know that this IS going to happen. i've waded through the anzio and caen demos and already have a solid 7:30 of footage to use. we'll see what makes the final cut but the goal is to get all participants at least one clip in the movie (here's your 10 seconds of fame

)

yes... from largefry's double-kill with the webley revolver, to team RBN capping anzio in 35 seconds, to Turbo killing himself by running towards his own unprimed nade.... and much much more! you'll see it all, on the Ville Cup Movie.

it should be finished and released within a week or two so stay tuned.

(ps. looking for suggestions on what music to use if you've got any good ideas)

At one point, I was face to face with paddyh4x in a hallway. . . .I Rambo'd half a clip from my MG into his chest. . . .he paused. . .aimed his rifle. . .and buried a single bullet into my sternum sending me to spawn.

And that is the least non leet moment.

I think I actually managed to kill myself by running into a wall.

I had like .25 health or something.

Bring it on! I'm sure it will be awesome to see.

Why do these videos always have to have techno? There are plenty of rock songs that would sound pretty cool in the video.

You should get some classical music in the video. I can't think of any particular piece off the top of my head but I always love sports videos with classical music in them. Just a thought.

Will the demos be available soon? I can't get enough of myself! Ok... not really

Anyway, the single match i was able to play on (replacing rizzo) was well worth it! Too bad it was in my exam's week, or i would have played the whole cup

I always thought that something like KMFDM - Anarchy would be good for a DoD video. Semi-techno, partially mellow. Yea.
