Its actually smart to shoot at the walls in DoD when you are in the clear because a lot of them are penetrable and alot of people are dumb and will stand right by a wall even as they are taking damage. When I play kalt for example I always empty garand clips into the wooden doors because there's a good chance someone is right behind the door priming a nade or whatnot. In avalanche I also always fire up at the double windows on the axis side because there is always a sniper up there and eventually you will get a lucky wallshot and kill him. Now I am not the type to accuse other players of hacking so that's all Ill say about that.

i watched that video and didnt see anything concrete as hacks.

1)everytime he kills someone its through a known penetrable wall. avalanche is full of them

2)its HIGHLIGHT footage, obviously he shot lots of walls and didnt get any kills. these just werent in the movie

3)if you watch a demo the net_graph changes so its different than what actually happened in game so that's not an issue

4)you CANT say he follows ppl through walls. how do you know this? you cant tell from watching this movie. the only way to decide is to watch the actual demo on your computer with wallhacks turned on (this is what league anti- cheat admins do). watch the movie again and you'll see that most of the kills are just spamming randomly. not aiming

5)there's other ways of knowing someone is in a place besides sound. you're overlooking the obvious .... maybe he saw them and seconds later shot at the wall. only the wall shot is in the movie

6) its pub footage. with players that are insanely predictable and most likely also bad.

7) recoil is easy enough to control without hacks

the thing that really makes me upset is that most people here feel like they have the athority to make judgements about hax when in reality they have no idea what hacking looks like at all.

you know what? i just watched this movie again and i'm almost certain there's no hacking involved

I've been on DoD.net for a year now and I've never seen Baz admit to hacking, or having a repuation to be a hacker. Honestly, even when he posted that video, no one called him a hacker.

People in pubs and clan servers seem to hate him a lot, (if you look at that page full of other players' reactions to some of his shots).

When I first starting playing at the Ville regularly, I shot Blue in the head through the double doors on Jagd with a total spam shot. I was convinced he was going to ban my ass. Lately I've been getting lots of wallshots, if I get nailed through a wall, I'll kind of pay attention where it occurred and try it on someone else. Spam shooting with the BAR can get you some nasty kills.

Well, Rizzo has a point, anybody making a video will only show the best parts. For exemple, lets say I take a demo of every games I play, and that i every games I'm bound to make a couple lucky shots. Now, if I take all these lucky shots and put them into a video..... wow! HaX0r!

still, there is a part where a player is flashing bright, and this is usually a sign of wallhacking.

So I wouldn't say I don't see ANY signs of cheating in that movie

sometimes in demos the models get screwed up. that's most likely why the one guy was white. sometimes allies will show up as axis models, completely white, or even as gordon freeman (as in baz's movie )
