I like how that site is graphically all stars and stripes, and that the pros of Manifest Destiny are basically only that the US can acquire the world's largest haven of natural resources. That's basically it. But Canada gets to be protected by an uber-strong military.  We don't have one because we don't need one but thanks for asking. |

Im pretty sure American troops can make it past the frontier. They do arctic(sp?) training in northern Alaska, remember...
Plus the best armored vehicle that canada has is the Panther 1 Main Battle Tank. Not exactly cutting edge, as M-60A3 Pattons (America's MBT before the Abrams) can wipe the floor with Panther 1's. Dont even get me started on Air combat capability...
Dont forget the US has cruise missiles, stealth fighters (f-22), Bombers (b-2), and attack aircraft (f117). Canada has early model f18s and f16s.
I love Canadians myself. There are a lot of them in my state, but we call them Yoopers. |
