TVB Annoucement

I'm letting The Ville know that <TVB> will be officially retiring. I've made a post thanking all the TVB members in the private forum. I want to thank every current and former TVB member for all their contributions during the 2 1/2 year run here at The Ville.

Some of you may perceive this as a sad day. I'm hoping everyone sees it as I do. I see it as a chance for some people to form a new and fresh guild. See it as a chance to give The Ville a shot in the arm that I think it could use right now. What I'm hoping that doesn't happen is having 25 people all trying to join US-V at the same time. It won't work. It's not that I would have a problem with <TVB> members joining US-V. I just don't think they want to go from 20 to 45 people in one day.

I've also given the option of letting current <TVB> members to continue to wear the "dead" tag down the road if they wish. There will be no forum and no council and/or leadership for <TVB> however.

no matter if a new clan/guild forms, it will be a sad day. id like to see the tvb members wear the tag, at least for a little while, in rememberence if nothing else. it was great while it lasted, and it is sad to see them go. Frag, and everyone else who made TVB possible, thank you.

Erm. Hmm? Well that's... well, at least I was part of it for a while. Clans or guilds rarely last two and a half years.

TVB was an experience to say the least.

I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Hmm, I think I'm going to put a .RIP at the end of my name for the next couple weeks while I sport the TVB tag to pay thee respects. I'll use it for a while, but I'll remove it pretty soon.

All i wanted when i first started playing on the ville was to be TVB...i finally got that...i hate to see it go...but i rather go out near the top than at rock bottom...its going to be odd but i think its the right thing to do.

even though i was never in TVB i feel sorry to see it go. im gonna miss the bitter rivalry and battles between US-V and TVB.

It's like a part of TheVille died, ever since i've been here TVB has been great, great people and fun to play with. Good Job to everyone that is a part of TVB, you've put a lot of fun in my days.
