As for legalizing drugs, the best argument is a comparison to prohibition. Illegalizing booze sparked a national wave of organized crime, as things stand now since drugs are an illegal industry there is no oversight and abolutely anything goes. This situation begets violence. Another comparison is prostitution. Where its its illegal prostitues are routinely abused and robbed by their pimps. Where its legal, the girls are way better off. Making drugs illegal while there is still a market for them only causes the industry to be pushed outside the bounds of moral behavior.

There is only one real thing i can say about the drugs thing.

All you have to do is legalize it, and then you dont have to waste so many cops on the borders of the US. Then they can do their real jobs and stop robbers and rapists...

It would empty the prisons and addicts will be able to get high with a minimum wage or picking up aluminum cans. as it is with alcohol abuse now.

we should not spend a dime on sending groups of armed men and women out to nab people having sex for money or not. Legal and upfront is what it should be. land of the free, I think not, bottom line do not criminalize freedom.

death penalty...against. we really do not know what happens after death. why end their punishnment prematurely, or send them back in another life, or be forgiven...keep them here keep them locked down with little light, activity, or contact with others. make them suffer.
