I have a friend that constantly changes his eyes with these things. At times, he looks down right freakish! It's hilarious to watch all the people doing double-takes wondering wtf?
I'm getting a couple pairs for this season at the haunted house. The blackout pair truly take away your soul. Friggen evil looking. _________________ Recipient of POTM award

I'd love to get some stuff like that, but they're not allowed at my school _________________

Simple, they tell you not where any wild-eye contacts like the ones on those site, and if you do they have you take them out, or you get in big trouble. Just plain contacts that have some extra normal color in them are perfectly fine though (like mine have a little blue circle in them).
[edit]Their reasoning for this is that they're disruptive to class and their ability to learn. If they need an easy out though, they can state that it makes it harder for the teacher to teach. I'd never win if I made a case of it. _________________

are you allowed to get tattoos or piercings is you want? you could argue that they are just as distracting if not more. they cant ban tattoos, as they are permanent and still under your right to free expressions. i bet if you fought it yourself you wouldnt - but if you did it and they made you go home or something, get the aclu involved and that could be fun. you DO go to public school, right? |

Yes, I do go to a public school, and yes, tattoos and piercings besides your ears aren't alowed. I've never actually seen anybody with tattoos at my school, but I figure that they would ask you to cover it up. They might even be allowed, but I do know that they're frowned upon. You are only allowed ear piercings, and even those have regulations. You can't put spikes in your ears to make the holes bigger, and you can't have really large earrings (like the big hoop ones). Guys are also not allowed to wear make-up unless it is for something like the school play, and girls can't wear things like ties (it's sad that my middle school allowed this, but my highschool doesn't). We only have freshmen and sophmores right now, so I'm pretty sure those rules ARE going to change before I'm a senior.
BTW, I bet you I wouldn't win. So long as the item is removable, replaceable by proper contacts, not absolutely needed at all, and the teacher claims it was disrupting their teaching, I will lose. Those kind of contacts could hardly fit under the category of expression anyway (don't tell me goths use them to express themselves, because satanic -- aka gothic -- material/s isn't allowed either) _________________

Of course, one of my friends wears this shirt every now and then, and never has a problem with any school officials
The part at the very bottom says "Come back here and I'll bite your kneecaps off!" _________________

Wow! Very Anal School!
Guess that's Forth Worth eh?
I've never gotten contacts because i'd hate to feel them get all grimy and forget to clean them, or lose them, or scratch my eyeball. That and the people who I've seen wear them sometimes get them offcenter so they look WallEyed _________________ World of Warcraft:

Yeah, the school can be a pain sometimes, but I like it anyway. And it's not Fort Worth, those are just the rules that my school has put into place (like I said before, my middle school allowed a lot of those things I listed above, but my highschool doesn't).
Soft contacts aren't bad, really. They don't get grimy, and trust me, you won't forget to clean them You just take them out at the end of the day, put them in their container and put some cleaner in. You can lose them if you drop them while putting them in, but they're not going to fall off of your eye or something. Soft lenses won't scratch your eyeball either, but they will hurt if you put them in inside out (it's easy to tell though, so no problem there). _________________
