steam problem

hi.. im SAM and i have a steam problem....

anyways when im launching steam it says "could not connect to steam network. This could be due to a problem with your internet connection, or with the network."

i dunno what to do.. cuz my internet works and all the servers are up (last time i checked)... any ideas?
