Battle of the war games

I first started playing online war games about two years ago. CS was the coolest game out there. I have recently started playing DOD. Now I am stuck on deciding which one to play? They are both awsome, and I was wondering are there anymore games out there like them?

i said CS. i love dod and wish it were the top mod, but numbers show how popular cs is. every noob, llama, and troll out there plays cs, and they will continue to through middle school and highschool. then they recruit younger, n00ber players. its a vicious cycle

I said DOD but i have a feeling CS is like a roach...in the sense it will be here long after all of us are gone.

There are a lot of mods out there, DoD is very popular now too, TS, Sven, TFC, and NS are here at TheVille also, choose one

If you truly prefer war games/mods, Battlefield or Call of Duty would both be good pics from what I've seen and heard. They are not HalfLife but each one does have several different mods just like HalfLife.

I myself do not prefer "period" war games. I'm much more into Half Life/Quake style games that have that "cartoon" edge to them.

I seem to think NS is better than CS but not sure about dod havnt played a good dod game in forever... i think im gonna go play dod now for a change.

NS is the best war game mod for HL. The War of Aliens vs Humans. With 2 modes even Combat and Regular, the best graphics and texturing, the most unique and different gameplay, and variation. And the learning curve is about the same as TFC, easy to learn, hard to master. And it's overtaking all other mods as #1
