My prayers go out to those lost and their families as well. I am glad to see all of you in your seriousness and compassion. I really dont feel mad right now. Its still sinking in, although Im sure I will feel pissed as hell when it has sunk in. I feel more shocked, and a little scared if anything. I just feel so much sorrow, and pain for the victims. Apache, I am impressed with your sense of honor. I however had to play TFC to get my mind off this tragedy, and to let off some steam as well. But sadly, I couldnt, there was this idiot named What, that kept talking about a possible WWIII. I, and many others told him to shut up. We'd just rather not think about that distressing stuff. Please do us a favor, and ban him for being so disrespectful by making a mockery of these events. I just would like for those responsibe to pay for what they have done, a thousand times over. I dont think that countries that harbor terrorists should be destroyed: afterall, the US has its few twisted individuals, but rather the terrorists themselves should be wiped out. This is a dark day in American history, and will forver go down in it. However, like it has been said, democracy will prevail. God bless those who died for the freedom that we have everyday. Im just glad that the rest of you feel this way as well. In all seriousness, as I write this, I am getting tears in my eyes. It is horrible to see what destruction man can empose on itself. I hope that one day, we can all get passed this awfulness.

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain
For purple mountains majesties
Above the fruited plain
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
Form sea to shinning sea!

O beautiful for pilgrim feet
Whose stern, impassioned stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God mend thine every flaw.
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law!

O beautiful for heroes proved in liberating strife.
Who more than self the country loved
and mercy more than life!
America! America!
May God thy gold refine
till all success be nobleness
and every gain devine!

O beautiful for patriot dream
that sees beyond the years
thine alabaster cities gleam
undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
and crown thy good with brotherhood
from sea to shinning sea!

O beautiful for glory-tale
of libererating strife
when once and twice
for man's avail
Men lavished precious life
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
till selfish gain no longer stain
the banner of the free!

O beautiful for patriot dream
that sees beyond the years
thine alabaster cities gleam
undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
till nobler men keep once again
thy whiter jubilee!

I have already posted 3 times on this subject, so excuse me if you are tired of my rant. I am thakful for being a part of this great community which shares eachothers' views on gaming issues as well as those that are personal. Today, our country has been accosted by the greatest terrorist act in history, and I am proud to be a part of this community. I hope and pray that our leaders will deliver justice to those to whom it is due. I am drunk and shocked, so please excuse my rant. My best wished to all who play on the ville, as well as to those whose family and friends who worked at the WTC. I still can't believe that I saw th Twin Towers Fall.

Ladies and Gentleman,

Today is a mile marker in history (for Americans and the world alike), much like that of December 7th 1941, when the Japanese suicide bombed Pearl Harbor... It will go down in infamy and live in each of our memories forever. Each of us will think back in the years to come and remember what we were doing on the very moment the news reached our sheltered and yet happy lives. This is a moment that will bring us back to reality and understanding that the world is a huge, dangerous and mysterious place. Many things can happen, some terribly tragic and others extremely joyful. However, we must understand that as Americans (forgive me my foreign brethren) we should know that many have died for the name of freedom and honor over the last century (of course many of our allies have done the same, standing by our side and giving their lives as well)… Many men and women and children… We must remember all of them; in their glory, and FIGHT to maintain our wonderful philosophy and state of living, for their sake and the sake of our children. Our forefathers (and mothers) who have given everything to leave for us this state in which we now live and enjoy at this very moment shall not be dishonored! We cannot let these people die in vain! We will stand and be recognized for what we are, in the name of justice, honor and remembrance…

My prayers are filled with warmth and hope for all that have been touched by these tragic events and I also pray that my family’s closest friends, The Baldwins are safe and healthy. One in particular works in the very building that was first attacked. I hope that she is safe…

Signed,
A man who strives for justice and honor; and would give his life in its name!

Well fist off this is about as F$#ked up as it gets,

My pryaers do go out to everyone who was affected by this as well as all Americans.

I think as Americans we need to stand up and make sure our government know just how pissed we are and that we want revenge. I think as soon as they identify who did this that it will be our first target, then to all other countries who harvest and train these people. And before anyone makes a comment on the last statment, I know the history behind it and how we actualy trained these people to help resist the Russian invasion on them in the 80's.

As my heart drops everytime I see something going on else were in the world, to watch Palestine and Iraq party because of this makes me sick to my stomach. I truly beleive these people have a special place in hell or what ever evil place may exist after life.

My boss and I watched this on the tv today, and I can rember telling him he doesn't have a chance in hell on getting me on a airplane for a while, hopefully I'll still have a JOB. We shall wait and see.

Peace to all, and I hope all of our great players from the ville or okay.

I woke up this mourn, got ready for work, and on every channel, I Seen the same thing you guys all seen. This is a very scary thing for many people in the USA especially people my age. I just turned 18 and registered for the draft. IF we had to go to war, and the draft was put into action again, this would be even more terrible. More lives would be lost going to war to prove a point than to just leave it alone. I know, leaving it alone seems cowardly, but what will it prove, that we can win no matter what. NO country will stand to us, and half the world has our back, so why would we risk the lives of hundreds of thousands of men to kill a few rag heads in a little thrid world country. I dont want to go to war. I have 2 brothers. I would be the type of person to get drafted. Im not a single child, so my family can move on with out me. I dont want war, and neither do any of you. My heart gos out to those who suffered directly from this attack today, and I am very sad also.

The Dude I couldn't agree with you more, but we have been doing this for the last 10-15 years, If we don't make a stand now then when will the attacks end. You think this is the only one planned? If you do and I hope to god so, I don't see this being the end. These people have declared war against the US and it citizen for many years now. These people look at it differently than we do. It's a holy cause and no matter how hard we try they seem to hate us worst when we try for peaceful solutions. Death is the only thing these people see and understand.

I wish there could be a solution that didn't lead to an act of war, but we do not fit in the picture of their Muslem world.

That statment is not selecting out Muslems just the extremist that are doing this.

Although I live in upstate NY and not NYC, I, my neighbors, friends, colleagues and family are struck by this horrific incident in our home town. Everyone in my office either knows someone who works in the WTC or is once removed from someone who does. I also fly regularly on business, and am scheduled to travel both internationally and domestically in the near future. I can't count the number of times I've flown into LaGuardia airport and seen the WTC over Manhattan. Needless to say my comfort level with the threat of terrorism will never be the same. We can only imagine what further destruction might have been caused by the fourth airplane or the truck with explosives found on the GW bridge.

My thoughts and prayers go out to those in New York and Washington that have been violated by these events.

This was just sent to me. It raised the hair on my neck as I read it....

A Nostradamus quote:

"In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb."
"The third big war will begin when the big city is burning."

On a lighter note, one of the PWG guys got a quote from someone, not sure who, but it goes a little somethin like this
"Personally, I'd like to see three towers built in their place, with the middle one much taller than the other two. That way, it would look like a giant middle finger, directed straight at the fuckers who did this." Pass it on.

I'm just really at a loss for words. It just hadn't really sunk in yet. The people who did this will pay dearly, and seeing those fucks dancing around in the streets of Afganistan really makes my blood boil.
