Bah, it's not ALL of Canada that drives people insane... mainly just Saskatchewan 
You all have such cool sigs. I wish I had the skills to make a nice one, but I don't think I have the patience to get into that.
Right now, I'm suffering from insomnia and am extremely bored. My toes are cold. Fun fun fun. Maybe I shouldn't be defending Canada... Take me to Hawaii, please.

hey Lhiannan....your profile says you do customer service for att. by any chance is that the wireless division? i need to be gettin me one of them new nokia 6820's and i dont feel like spending that much dough. any insider tricks you know of to reduce the price??????  |

Yep, I work for ATT Wireless. The American division. We're cheap labor up here in Canada. The 6820 is a really nice phone. Quite pricey. It's also a GSM phone. I'm only digital customer care. One option you could do, is check the website for the price.... like, right now it retails for $349.99.... but new customers get it for $129.99... call them and ask them to match the new customer price on the website. They will also quote you a price that is the Customer upgrade price and try to talk you into that, but the new cust price is probably better. Depends on your account. They have some wacky system that determines prices for existing customers.
Basically, act like you'll cancel service if you dont get a good deal. That makes you retention risk and elligible for more offers. But dont be an ass, because when people act like that I dont give them anything =)
Right now, I'm actually on a leave of absense from work. Otherwise, I'd be able to check exact prices for you, and compare, etc. Any other questions, feel free to shoot me an email or pm =)
