Will when your baseball and hockey team are own by the same chump. Who cares nothing about the fans and milks every dime he can get. Then why would I support either team that is filled with a bunch of losers and kids that have nobody to guide and mentor them. If Hicks would stay out of the operational side and hire a good hockey/baseball guy to run things. Then it would a world a lot better. If the Stars were ran proper and had a good solidly work together team year after year(bad and good times). Then I would at least support them and go to a game or two. Even though I hate hockey.
As far as baseball. I love the game, just hate tha player. I am going to watch the Fort Worth Cats of the Independent league. To be reminded of what actual playing baseball is. No players that play good to get a big contract and then sit on their butts or play to justify a kagillion dollars. Just want the palyers to get back to playing for the fun of the game, then worry about getting compensated properly. By the way when you can spend only $9-10 at a Cats game, that gets you parking, ticket, hot dog and beer, why pay $35-40 for the same thing at a Ranger game. |

Ummmmmm all I want to say is....
CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG.....
I think Frag has a good point of what he has done, from what I read (providing its correct and I think it is) you have contributed a ton to The Ville, and everyone I am sure thanks you for that.
As far as Blown, I don't think he meant it the way you took it.
I think he just meant he has seen you on other servers with bots on them.
I would love to see more people running on City 17, but it goes in cycles and that is that. I personally have played TFC since the day it started and will probably continue until I find something that is better.
BTW.... City 17 will be one of the first servers up in the World when Halflife 2 hits. I will be there at 12am to get the copy and it will be installed that night and early morning.
The Ville shall rain supreme...!!!!!!!!!!

Not TFC correct, but it comes with CoOp Deathmatch.
The leaked copy had it, so I am going to assume had I seen this "said" leaked copy, it would have had it. Having never seen "said" leaked copy though, one can only assume "said" leaked copy had it...

Personlly I dont even get why we waste our time with a TFC server when really only a few seem to give a crap about it. Luckily db only plays TFC. I guess the difference is I TRY and get on and make it work to get ppl on the server. |

1. Everytime I see a Ville TFC server, I only see bots.
2. There says NOTHING anywhere that I sign a exclusivity contract with The Ville only promising to play here. It's rediculous quite frankly. I don't think anyone should tell anyone ONLY to play here. Pete's is a quality server and a quality community too. I enjoy hanging around with both servers of people.
3. I think my past track record of Ville "Dedication" speaks for itself
Ville Admin 2+ years
Guild Leader 2+ years
TVL league/tournament organizer
Multiple Ville bashes in Vegas
Helping put a Ville station on the map
Settling disputes
Helping out others when they need to chat
Sending Rob money to keep this place running along with many other supporters.
I should NOT be questioned.
4. I'll be back when Half Life 2 comes out. I'm not gonna play a mod I don't like too much. TFC is still my preference. Just because the rest of the Ville likes DoD does not mean I have to be a follower. It's been said that TFC is a "dead" mod at The Ville. Most people accept that as truth now.
5. I didn't start this until Blown made a stupid dumb shit dig at me in reference to Pete's. It was a left field comment from him and a clear dig at me. I will have my say when I get little comments thrown my way. I won't stand for it. |
Maybe it's just me but nowhere in Blown's statement did I see your name mentioned. I didn't mention any names either. I'm not sure why you would think this is a stab at you.

Yeah pornstar, Hicks is annoying and it seems like right now the only team I can watch here is the Stars, despite Hicks. It would be nice if the Stars and Rangers could be owned by someone that likes the sport and isn't only worried about turning a profit.
The Rangers stink, and baseball in general gets on my nerves now so I pretty much never watch it. The Mavs have had some serious problems, and I have been really disappointed with their play this season, I am hoping they won't exit in the first round but it looks like it is going that way. So I will wait for spring training and the draft for the 'boys and hockey.
The other good thing that just started up is F1, much better then any of the racing here in the states, but it looks like this season is almost already decided after 3 races and mclaren has had some serious problems  If there was more soccer on here, I would watch it especially qualifying for the next WC, but that never happens, oh well. |
