CS might be fun on a locked Ville server where we knew the players and didnt have to worry about hacks...it sucks in pub though.
and speaking of mods and a change of scenery...has anyone played Firearms?? its set with most of the modern day weps(like CS) but without the "you die and you're out of the round" game style. The maps i've played seem cool so far, they're basically the same as DoD(ctf, attack & defend, etc) and it requires a bit of skill as the weps dont kill you in 1 hit. One of the cool features is how you can customize each class with whatever equip/weps you want. might be cool to try out on one of the servers. http://www.firearmsmod.com/

yea ive played that, its almost like dod with modern guns and stuff.
a cool thing i never saw in any other mod is that after your shot you keep on bleeding and loosing health until you wrap it wit a bandage.

There tends to be a lot of cheating and bad language in CS that would take a lot more work out of the admins. It seems like they are all little kids who think they're cool.

Actually Mike, DOD 3.1 or was it an early version? Had the same thing you could bleed to death.
