Hey, um Phoenix (not to jack this thread) but wasn't it you and I who played Axis on Charlie with nothing but shovels a few months ago? We set up a killzone in a bottleneck and just destroyed piles of Allies? Was that you?

steam also ruined warpath. The caps dont cap all the time..its freakin annoying

My latest steam problem is I freeze in mid game. Just started a couple of days ago. I can hardly get thru a map anymore. Not only is it on exit of game that it freezes but now it is in the middle of game. They should have left everything alone and just let won take care of it. At least those problems were easier to figure out.

oh ya, ever since this last steam update, when I try and leave a NS game it totally hoses my computer. It makes everything super bright on my desktop. I go to my properties and get my color back, but then anytime I join any HL mod my gamma goes back to super bright. Only way to get rid of it is to reboot my machine. I can leave and join TFC and TS with no problem. Its just the leaving NS. Happens every single time Ive played. I updated my vid drivers and havent tried again, but will. Doubt it will make a diff since Ive never had this problem before ever.

Don't think that was me Ten Yard, I have seen you on the servers more then a few times though. I also have a problem quitting from DoD, it locks DoD sometimes when I try to exit from in game, not a big problem but just another problem I've had since the last updates.

for the ns gamma things blown i use to have a gamma reset when i installed ns i dont see it now but if u still have the 2.0 version u will have it all u do is go to there and reset the gamma and it should work...thats all i did and it worked for me

as for the leaving of the ns games to go play anything else yeah same for me the ns would freeze and its a pain

stupid steam i wish it would burn in he!!

Having all these problems I figured I would try every bit of advice that has been given to fix a steam related problem.

For the leaving game part I logged out of steam, restarted my comp, and logged back in and that seemed to take care of that problem. For now that is, it could just be a fluke.

For the video problem I haven't figured that one out yet. I am still getting the occasional "hiccup" from my vid card so I am not sure. I am gonna check some video settings to make sure it is not something stupid that got changed somehow.
