I dont know how KFC raises there chickens, but how animals are treated here as they are born, raised, and killed is just sick.

Cavit: I assume all ranchers and farmers do not practice this but it still happens. The power of low prices and the need to survive drives the wheels.

We feed them their own fecas, blood, brains, leather scraps, trash. We do all this across the board, intermingling species and their dieases where they mutate and grow into new exotic dieasess. They are shoved in tiny cages or pens with no room to move or stretch.

The list goes on and on...

I eat and enjoy meat and chicken and whatever. I would be willing to pay another dollar a pound to get chickens fed grain and beef hay not blood.

But I dont think Peta has that in mind I feel that they just want all animal killing stopped.

I think animals shouldn't be treated as bad as they are, but animals that are low on the food chain are meant to be eaten by animals higher in the chain. Humans happen to be one of the highest animals on the food chain, so we are supposed to eat chickens and cows.

one of my friends at school said by being a vegetarian she saves 76 animals a year or something... 1/5th of an animal every day. if i had a freakin fifth of a cow i'd have one hell of a barbeque.
