The other game, he was playing about the same, it was the other [DarkSide] members kicking our asses.

BigCaulk don't get me wrong here. I don't know if they cheat or not, I myself have never played with them. I just put two and two together (seeing how they came in a bunch and only played epicenter, and badlands)

i can tell ya right now, that a flame rocket in teh foot, at full hp, shouldn't kill you, and pretty much the same for the solly, i think spies and snipers are the only classes that can get one hit kills, ore 2 hits

Heh...my my, two pages of this. I do so enjoy the publicity, but unfortunately, this is turning into the negative type.

I find it so surprising that even veterans can't distinguish cheating from actual skill these days. It's a very sorry state of affairs when those who've practiced to become good are instantly met with a barrage of "You hack!" and "God damn cheater!" messages flooding their screen.

We're just like that. Hey, you don't get recognized by VALVe software just being mediocre. We've been in TFC for years now; we've done some pretty amazing stuff, much more amazing than the silly little pub show you witnessed today. Stuff like this, or this, or even this.

Anyway...know that Darkside is fully, 100% AGAINST cheating, scripting, ghosting, h4><0r1|/6, or anything of the sort. We like to make sure that when we play, anywhere we play, we play fair, and give ourselves no outside advantages other than pure "skillz" alone.

BTW, there's a reason Ancalagon appeared to be cheating. He's no ordinary medic.

Skill or no skill it is impossible for a Pyro to kill a Demo with 100/120 in one shot. With a Pyro rocket, it's just not possible. It happened over and over so it wasn't just a fluke. I would like to see anyone shoot me in the foot and kill me with one shot like that in front of an admin. I understand you do not like being accused of cheating. I didn't say it was you. It was one of you wearing the [Darkside] tag.

I will go mulch with any of you [Darkside] people and I will stand still and let you shoot me in the foot. In front of an admin, I seriously doubt it's going to kill me. I have NEVER accused anyone of cheating in these forums or on these servers! This is my first instance on theville witnessing this. If you show me I can be killed in one shot with a pyro, I will recant my statement and apologize.

wow, so darkside is a major clan? but i do understand what you saying dark, i've seen regs get accused of cheating lots of times, i saw somebody accusing roofcutter of cheating, that made me laugh, i myself have never been accused, i'm not good enough, but i've seen it

I played for a bit on the same team as some of the Darkside people, and they were communicating very effectively through voice comm, and basically playing the way a very coordinated team would play. The Emporer toasted MaGnEtRoN once like he was a newb.

If they decide to stick around, it could be a VERY interesting development. With the death of the stats, the Ville is kind of easing into a more casual mode of play. But we may have to put away the beer and pretzels to hang with the Darkside. [Hmmmm . . .. what's the smiley for mixed feelings?]

You sure you weren't harmed before? Or some circumstantial event happened before/during/after being hit?

See, all that stuff (damage and the like) is controlled by the server, if I'm not mistaken. What you're proposing is that you were killed in one rocket by one of us Darksiders who were pyro (I believe Ancalagon, PoBA, and Wolfwood all went pyro later on in the map), somehow by hacking into the server while playing, and then increasing the damage of a rocket? Am I the only one here who thinks this sounds preposterous?

Though, it pleases me to be the first clan you ever accuse, heh. I suppose it must be construed as praise, being called a cheater, in that there's no way you possibly think it could be done, and thus it HAS to be a cheat. I can't say how you died so easily, Kjeldorian...but I know that no Darkside has, nor ever will, cheat.

And hey...don't put away those pretzels. I want one.

We anxiously await a display of elite bus-driving skillz from the Darkside. That seems to be all the rage around here these days.

Someone needs to give these guys the IPs of the <PWG> and [BR] servers, and the [LB] server if there is one. A lot of our hardcore clans eventually drift away from the "pubby" main Ville servers, and are cool peeps too.

I was killed alone with no interruption by one of you several times with one shot from a Pyro rocket. By several, I mean more than five times. No other damage was dealt to me by anything else before or after the initial rocket.

I have seen you all in games since and I have not seen anything even close to it. Your excuse was, "I am playing crappy so I won't be accused of cheating". However, your "skill" has yet to match that of the first game I was in with you all. As far as constant one shot kills with rockets.

Listing your accolades proves nothing to me about your personality so I can't speak for you. I know what I witnessed. However, since I have no proof, there isn't much I can do. That is why I didn't use your names or even your clan name. I handled it the best way I knew. If it happens again, I will be the first to say, I've seen it before. If it doesn't, then we will all get along and have fun.

Granted you probably won't care much for me!

But I am here to impress no one. Just to have fun with my friends.

Personally, I hope to see that insane medic in game. I want to get in his head and figure out what he's doing. Of course, that's only so I can outplay him at some point. I'm tired of going to other pub servers and owning. I want to be challenged in large amounts.

I would like to see Eagle Eyes mulch one of these Darkside members. Wouldn't that be a great fight. I don't think they have been paid a visit by frag either. And as for that med I really doubt he could rack up a score like that in a full house of avanti. I would personally see to it

I will wipe the slate clean and chalk it up to "maybe" I was seeing things. I do not want to be responsible for ruining a good clan's name. What I said was my opinion and my opinion only. It in no way represents anyone else here. As you can see from the other posts.

Since you have gone through so much to pronounce your innocence, I hope I was wrong. I am not saying I have changed "my" mind. I am saying, I am not the all knowing master of this game and I am not immune to mistakes.

yeah...im more than willing to give him the benefit of the doubt about the cheating cuz he obviously wasn't. but the talking up of his skills kind of bothers me, because when you are supposedly a #1 ranked soldier even if you aren't trying i would imagine your aim would be better than that. also darkside emperor you said you were the number one soldier on OGL. i was just curious which ladder and if you had an alias or something cuz i dont see any darkside on the 4 ladders. i enjoy the competition and i think it will be good for the ville if we had another good clan thrown into the mix. i just don't like it when people talk really big and show nothing to back it up.
