so i jsut got back from watching the vet implosion across fromt he highway. i got some pics i can post soon and a vid if anyone wants to host it for me?  ??? its liek 3mb though. and no sound.

everyeone running once it had finished to not get stuck in traffic. Thats right they were standing at the highway divider
one of the last pictures of it standing. note all the people along the side. there were also that many in the middle and on the opposite side of the highway too

The Vet was the stadium in Philly where the Eagles and the Pillies used to play. It has since been replaced by two separate stadiums, one for each team. I got a friend from philly who said building the eagles stadium was a horrible choice for them, and that ticket prices have skyrocketed since they started playing in the new stadium. I wonder if the same thing will happen to the philliies

WOW....it's sad in a way to see a longtime staple of the Philly area leave....that stadium has played host to not only the Philidelphia Eagles, but, for a long time it was also the host to many many classic Army/Navy games in which the competition between the 2 had some very very memorable moments. Good Bye Vet. Thank you for the memories.

the pic is the farthestlane from the stadium, th eone we were on. both sides, all 6 lanes of traffic were closed down since the stadiumw as so close. thats afterwards wheneveryone was leaving. hence... going away fromt he stadium
the t-shirt my roomate bought for $5 ( instead of 10) once the thing got imploded
