3dmark- how much are YOU packin?

WHOA! roofcutter how did you find that out? i dont knwo anyone who frequents the 3dmarks positng place..nifty...i had gotten more orignally, with win ME, 9,763, but XP slowd it, im sure its the ATi drivers... (damn you ati...grrr...) but thats pretty nice yourself..anyone else here run 3dmark? wha kinda scores does the avg 'viller have? too bad HL caps at 100fps...im curious to see how high it could go..quake2 ahs no such cap and its kinda silly now, i can jump about 20 feet in singleplayer..hehe...

I was wondering if you were going to run across that post.
I have my ways... I went to your web site. Nice...you sure put a lot of work into it!
My wife gets a courtesy copy of 3dmark and we always use it when we are checking out the latest hardware systems she builds. She uses it as a reference in her articles. We don't do the overclock stuff just your straight forward set-ups.
I see you are using the 2000 and showing a 1200+ I think the result is! ha I bet you wish that was your score back in May of 2000.

P$ 1.5 gig
512 mb Rambus Memory
Nvida gforce 3
30 gig 7200 harddrive or maybe 20 can't remember which one I haave installed right now.
My score is 6767. Whats yours?

#1 what is 3Dmark im unfamiliar with it. from what I can gather from your posts its a benchmarking program?????

#2 my god man, although its badass, what do you need 1024 MB of DDR ram for?? are you controling spy satelites or what??? LOL

Go here and download it. There is a free version avialable. Then you can bench your system. It fun to do and the graphics involved are spectaular. There is also a short game involving a truck with rockets that you control that has to destroy the helicoptors before they destroy you.

and that sites not mine roof, though i wish it was..i jsut borrow the logo...yeh may...LOOOOONG time ago..i think that was a p1 120mHz? i ahvent run 3dmark2k1 recnetly, it kept dying on the nature scene for some reason, but i changed some stuff and ran jsut nature so ill try again soon...your wife reviews hardwares stuff? that has to be one of the best jobs...if you have any gf3s or anyhitng you dont need send em to me! hehe

and anohter additon the 9,000 i got was with NOTHING installed on my comp, right after i put it togehter..i dobt ill ever see it runnign that nicely agiain..i had an (timed exactly) 7.8 SECOND BOOT! WØØ†!!!

appearently XP isnt the greatest benchmarking OS of all time I only scored a mere 2634, and im running a P4 with 384 MB of RDRAM with a GEFORCE 400MX 64 MB, I have a ton of crap installed but still that sucks.
