...in order to play DOD on steam through The Ville?

My hard drive is a little fat and I want to trim it up by removing some old programs. I have the original HL and Blue Shift and Opposing Force installed. Can I get rid of these????????? Or some of them?????? It is like almost 4 or 5 gig combined.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah you can get rid of the old copies of HL as long as you keep all the Steam stuff on there.

....so I take it that some steam files are attatched to the old HL programs or are you just saying to leave all the seperate steam files alone.

if your system is anything like mine, you should have two separate HL folders, one that looks like this:

C:/Sierra/Half Life

and one that looks like this:

C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/Myemail/Half Life

You can get rid of the Sierra Folder, just make sure you don't get rid of the Steam one.
