In my opinion Power Archiver is a superior program to winzip. It does absolutely everything winzip does and supports more extensions. (lha and lhz) It's also a free program so it doesn't bother you to register and such. I recommend that you all try it.

Winace supports about 10-12 different archive types, it compresses files MUCH better than winzip, and you can de/compress more than 1 file at the same time, whereas in winzip you have to do one at a time.
That's just my one cent (too lazy to give you both my cents)
