Not another server question!

Yea well... I'm in highschool and I don't have a job. I don't understand about the servers thing. Do your companies let you run the server, do you have to pay, or what?
How do you get a server and who provides it?

I really just want to know. Although i bet if i was bribed i could get my dad to do it.

It seems that it would be hard to get your boss to agree to something like this. Imagine...

ROB: Umm... boss... I wanna talk...

BOSS: About what?

ROB: Well, there's this game I play and-

BOSS: HA! A GAME! GET OUT OF MY OFFICE YOU CRETIN!

ROB: (starts crying)

BOSS: Oh, I'm sorry, what can I do for you?

ROB: I was wondering if you would let me use the server during the off-hours...

And it would go from there. Maybe his boss would laugh at him again

ROB: Uh boss, I have this problem...

BOSS: Oh do go on... (reaches his hand under the desk, and slowly inches it toward the silent alarm button)

ROB: There's this game I play and I need a server, to play with my friends

BOSS: Oh really? I can see how that is a problem. (starts furiously tapping the silent alarm button)

ROB: Well you see...and...oh... (Two heavily armed guards walk in and drag Rob out of the office) Thanks anyways...I'll see you on monday! Hey not the hair!

I think something like this

Rob: Hey boss I've got this cool stuff on the computer come check it out.

Boss: Alright Rob give me a few seconds (presses cancel emergency button)
Let's go.

Rob; now have a seat and use these keys to move around.

Boss: Ok I hope this is good we spent a lot of money on these things and we hardly use them.

Rob: Ok here it comes...alright run over and get some gernades..

Boss: Gernades??

ROB: yeah get 2 bags we dont want to run short.
Ok now sneak up behind that thing we call an SG and press that button....BOOOMMM...

Boss: OMFG Rob that was unbelievable...Lets do it again.....7 hours later.....Rob I wish there was some way to share this with our friends....heavy sigh...

ROB: With a twinkle in his eye...There may be a way.....

thats some pretty good writing..im not sure if its the TFC that has warped my brain to see everything in TFC-like scenes, but i could see that happening..especially the twinkle
