Glad you got everything up and running. Was wondering since I know you were waiting for the memory. Cool stuff! |

it took another blonde (me) to help him get through the whole process, although when i came in he was mostly all done, just having some setup and install issues.
also which printer is that in the minime picture (he is so cute). it looks like an hp office jet. which model. do you like it? i need to get a new printer and i want the all-in-one machines, but the only ones ive had experience with are the older style officejets. lemme know your opinion on yours. |

I absolutely love this all-in-one. The picture quality is very close the the hp photo printer that I got for my wife. These things have come a long way since the last time I looked at them, back when they first came out. My main reason for buying this one is because it takes the same ink as the other printer so I am not buying different types of ink. Also you can't go wrong with HP . Would I recommend this one?? Hell ya. _________________

Cool, looks good there BRN. Though you should have put the RAM in DIMM slots 1 and 3 instead of side-by-side in 1 and 2.
The pictures are up so that means it finally done! Glad to have helped out, I just like to see projects come together good for people. And now you've probably learned about your system so if something goes wrong you know what's in there, not mystery parts. _________________ World of Warcraft:

The 2 blue slots?? Does that make a diff?? If so then it is an easy fix. _________________

Yeah, those'd be the ones, I beleive it does make a difference when you only have the 2 slots like that you want to space them out, if only for heating purposes as well. It's easy to do anyways, and if it has a problem with it (it shouldn't) you can always just put it right back where it was. _________________ World of Warcraft:

i wouldnt do it. memory is meant to start in slot 0 and be inserted sequentially. although some memory/board combonations wont have issues, many will. some wont boot at all, but others will just crash randomly leaving you wondering. thats my experience at least. |
