I've always been curious about when people started
playing Day of Defeat, especially good players.

It seems logical that the older the player, the
better they are.

I'm probably the longest playing DoD player here,
started the 3rd day the game came out, I downloaded
it the first day it came out but was away for 2
days so I couldn't play it.
But I skipped over 3.0 because it was terrible after
playing all of the 1.x betas and 2.x betas...
I was also in all of the original FREE
BattleforEurope campaigns (from beta 2.0), and
would have accepted Colonel position had I not
hated the players who played it.

Version Started: BETA 1.0 - The first public playing
Highest CLQ Ranking: 12th (of all players in servers ranked by CLQ) during BETA 1.2

Add when you started and anything else that may
add to your Leetness!! We'll when you started and
if it's a factor of your leetness...

Blue puts that theory to shame.

I played 1.0 but I honestly do not recall when I first d-loaded it. A while back, I would install/test any new Mod I could get my hands on. Eventually, I stumbled across DOD. I played it before it came to The Ville I know.

I seem like a huge noob compared to all of you. I bought the game in October of 2003. It was the first FPS game I had bought for the PC since Final Doom. I did play Goldeneye and Perfect Dark for the N64. I've played this game for about 5 months now. I think I'm a little above average player.

I was a day after them. Jfet was like - this new mod is great. So, I listened and dled it. He was right.

As for your theory, I have been playing for a long time and really suck at this mod.

Well I have been playing DOD since late 2000 or early 2001. But that doesn't matter since everyone calls me a noobie.
