Ok well sence i play games like Unreal Tournament 2003 and the 2004 demo and BF1942, many know that these games are very cpu intensive. Now if you like to listn to music be aware that Winamp 5 uses 3 times as many resources as Winamp2, the only thing different is the tv and the library (mabe not new but it is to me). So if you like to listen while you game you should degrade to winamp 2. Just a tip if you are laggin while listning.

| Probally should of gone in the Tips section but probally more will read it here, Great tip GP! and i guess since were on the subject of programs runnin in the background while you game, You can also goto Start>Run>MSconfig and edit what programs run on start up so they not alotta excess programs are running while you game.... Its the lil stuff like these that add up to a big FPS boost in game! |
