I would love to make a VILLE film including some of you as actors. All we need is about 12 or so of you and a server with All Talk on and Spectator view so I could have a clear screen as the "Camera Angle". We could stage some shots and also just play so I could get "Real" footage.

no closeups. seriously....from 4 hours away in dallas you hurt the eyes...i couldnt imagine what a closeup would do =)

Nice video i liked the qality and everything, how did u make it? i mean when u showed the DOD footage it had like 3 windows around it, seems like u didnt record from demo to bmp files then encode and its nice but we are more than just DOD footage

you shoulda had some small clips of other mods.

Edit : if you do make a ville vid and need an actor id love to help out.

I shot the video using my home computer and my laptop. I hooked a scan converter up to the laptop, this was my "Camera" system. I then plugged the scan converter into my small digital camcorder (Sony TRV22).
My wife Stacey manned the home computer which was really funny because she has no idea how to even move in the game. I manned the Laptop. We set up various shots throughout the maps and staged every shot. I would record the footage on the camera which yeilds no loss of signal.
After we finished shooting I captured all the footage onto my computer using a Canopus ACEDVio capture card. I used Sony Vegas Video 4 for all editing and rendering into the Windows Media format. All together it took 5 or 6 hours to make the whole thing. It went fast because I kinda know what I am doing and knew what I wanted in the film.
