Conan is not a hockey star gone bad
Qubec's goverment is sensitive
George Bush may be responsible for all this

It goes to show you even people who are at peace and have food and shelter will find ways to dislike each other enough to break up and then throw barbs back and forth.

That commercial, Chappelle read a letter from a "reader," which said, "How can you let such an obvious racist have his own show?" Chappelle responded by saying, "My bad, I didn't realize I was being so obvious."
Its called a joke, he isn't admitting he is racist. The show has more racial jokes than any on TV right now, but it makes fun of every race pretty equally. The funniest skit on his show I saw was the "Niggar Family." It was about a white family who's name were the "Niggar's." I never laughed so hard in my life. You should all check it out if you get Comedy Central. Wednesday nights at 930 central. |

chappelle is hilarious.....there is no way you could call him racist, because he makes fun of blacks just as much as whites...if you need proof watch the one where he makes fun of the real world...where its 6 black people and one white guy. he makes fun of black stereotypes sooo bad, and if you watch the show more than once, you'll see that he makes jokes about every kind of person.

I was not saying Mr Bush was doing this, i made a comparison to what is going on and how we have this type of television on regularly, but you don't see anyone flying in to stop it or crying about it. |

I haven't seen that specific show yet, but I understand that the Triumph dog puppet skit was hilarious. I saw him do a bit on the Star Wars groupies that was funny and abusive at the same time.

I just knew someone would say this ;| You left out LBJ, with the whole Vietnam War. Then theres Hoover and the Great Depression. Our economy is rebounding and the transfer of power to an Iraqi government is set in June. Just because you don't agree with his decisions, it doesn't mean hes the worst. Way to drag your own political agenda in on this one.

It's like me hiring the uni-bomber to send christmas cards. You would expect conan to have fun with the poeple and go nuts. If not, then why bring him up in teh first place? An artist works best without boundaries, if the governemnt is THAT concerned with a TV show then something is horribly horribly wrong. Did they ban the South Park Movie too? |
