Late Night with Conan O'Brian has been banned in Canada. I am pretty surprised about it myself what do you guys think? Especially our Canadian brothers

Its not like Conan is the sole person to blame in this. His writers and producers and what not are all to blame. Even though I don't see the big deal. If anyone believes that everyone in Quebec is a homosexual they shouldn't be allowed staying up late enough to watch the show. I don't see what is the problem with poking fun at stupid stereotypes is.
I mean, we all know paddyjack isn't gay, just bi.

Since his audience in canada his mostly english canadians (i.e. everywhere except in Quebec province and a small manitoban community), Conan knows how to make them laugh. He only had to laugh at those damn frogs from Quebec and he was sure to make most english canadians laugh.
That shows that:
A) He is not really original
B) He knows his audience his stupid and counts on it.
C) He should stay out of Quebec province for a while
By the way, a nice quote from the mayor of Quebec city about that was: "If every jokes made by English Canadians against French Canadians were given that much attention every day, Quebec would now have separated and would be a country."

second this is why i hate stupid ppl if u have problems wit something like conan then just dont watch it dont try to make everyone be as narrow-minded as u by saying that they should ban it. i say if hes racist then dont watch it and if enough ppl dont watch it then the show might get cancelled and the prob takes care of itself. god i could just smack all those moran politicians

That is a joke. Conan had all Canadian guests and even let them put down the US many times, so the jokes pretty much evened out.

Actually they paid a million bucks to Conan for hosting this show. So they think that Conan's "racism" would be looked at as supported by the Canadian govt. And it's not Mr. Bush who's doing this.
Anyway I think it's still bull. Everyone knows the racism jokes on Conan's show are supposed to be mocking and fake, not seriously intended to hurt anybody :/ Oh no, a talking dog puppet called french people queer. Teenagers can do much, much worse :/ |

lol yea that is the most racist show, they even had a comercial where he was talking about how lot of people wondered why it wasent banned yet, and he admited he was racist.
but i dont think the US can ban shows because the freedom of the press, unless theirs an acception for TV.
