I have read some stuff lately here at theville, that relates to musiciansfriend.com. I just saw that one, if not more, of the servers are being hosted by them. KRG has made mention of them in threads.... so, how is theville related to musiciansfriend.com.
Is there an employee here from OR, I think Blown is from there?
Just curious as to what the relationship was. I buy stuff from them sometimes, and if someone here would benifit from purchases then I could slide more business their way.

City 17 is hosted by Mucisian's Friend and that employee would be Deathbringer. I think Strongbad works there as well?
I get their catalogs every month and it's like porn to me. 
I too buy a lot of stuff from them. DB should hook us up.

You're better off just buying it at that price($299 I think) . The margins are really low on most electronic stuff so we pay almost the full price even with our discount. |

So I borrowed a copy of Guitar world from the mid '90's, and wouldn't you know. In the front there was an ad for Musician's Friend, telling you what number to call for a free catalogue (I guess they didn't have a web site that far back) It was the issue with Kurt Cobain on it a few months after he killed himself.

I have that one I think. Is it the one with him pointing a gun at the camera?
What really hooked me on Musician's Friend was the fact that they do not charge shipping on most orders over $200 or so. We paid shipping on some drum cases but that was it. We saved tons of cash with the free shipping. Everything was also delivered fast. Highly recommend the site!
