The game is completely free. You can pay if you choose, kinda like here, but it is not required. The money you spend will help buy items for your character which can help you in game, depending on which server you choose to play.

This is a direct link for the download http://gunbound.net/down/game_down_01.asp. It will ask you to add your email account but there is absolutely no spam that occurs from it. I used my hotmail account and have not seen 1 spam email there in a looong time. I wish my cox.net account was that way
