Has anybody used this version of Linux before.

The reason why I ask is I have been thinking of getting a pre-built Linux box. Fry's has one with a VIA processor with this type of Linux on it for $150.00. Is it easy to use? Anything like SuSe? Is it worth the money and time? I was thinking of buying a used Dell or Compaq and loading SuSe on it, but I don't want to have to go through the pain of getting Linux to work with all the parts in the PC. My past experiences have been bad with Linux and BSD due to some video card or other part not working. I have heard that Red Hat and SuSe have made great leaps in user friendliness. Just I have many things that I could use $150.00 bucks on to go wasting it on another PC.

Suse or redhat(fedora) should autodetect most hardware unless you have some brand spankin new whizbang part.

As for being easy to use, well that's a matter of opinion. I've been using unix and linux for over 4 years and I can't imagine working without it. Some people can't stand it. If you like to tinker with your system, then linux is perfect.
