sniper xhairs

hey i got a question

would it be frowned upon if i replaced the axis xhairs with the allied ones?

and if thats ok how would i go about doing that?

Just aboot everyone changes their crosshairs at one time or another. Unless you're hopelessly in love with the old ones as I am.

I like using a little red dot for most of my crosshairs.

Boy, you're slow. I've been using the allied sniper crosshair for all the sniper rifles for about a year now

If you want to change them, you might have to download the dod used with won (before steam was released). However, if you still have those older files, or have a way of extracting sprites from your steam files, then just keep reading. Go to your sprites folder, copy scope_spring.spr and paste it twice. Rename one of them scope_k43 and the other scope_einfield. Then copy score_spring_soft.spr, and paste it twice. Then rename one scope_k43_soft and the other scope_enfield_soft.

If you don't already have a sprites folder for your steam dod version, you'll need to make one in steamapps>e-mail addy>day of defeat>dod

lol i didnt know u could change the crosshairs... the reason im always allies is cause i cant stand the axis crosshairs. the british ones arent as bad but still suck... i prolly wont change them tho cause im an idiot with computers and would screw something up.
