he is trying to sell the sword, and it appears he was trying to shwo how solid the construction was, backfired in mroe than one way. not how he hit the back of the blade? wtf woudl someone do that for otherwise?

Most people don't know that most Japanese swords out there are fake(made out of cheap metal). A real Samurai Sword would not of broken like that. The ones you see on shows like that or find in a knife shop in the mall are for decoration. I agree with Bada, he got what he deserved. He could of at least stopped b#$ching like a baby and suck it up. |

it is the "knife collectors" not the " expert swordsman" show i tihnk most people know what they are gettign and they usually say stainless or not. i mean i sure as hell wouldn't want/expect to get a hand forged sword its'd be hella expensive

Yes, real collectors would know that. But it would of helped if somebody informed that idiot, that banging the blade on its side and back would break it. I would imagine that didn't help their sales that night.  You would have to admit though that there are fools out there that don't know that its for decoration and collection only. There was a Martial Arts enthusiast who tried to kill his girlfriend with one of these blades. Was able to cut off here arms, then tried to cut her head off. But the blade had been bent from the arms and only lodged into her neck. She survived I think or died at the hospital due to blood lost. So it is still dangerous if put into the wrong hands. |
