the informed buyer is the best buyer.
all you can get is same name exchange. the onyl possible reason they woudl give you another game is if the oen you had didn't work when you initially bought it and they had no more copies of the game left and at that point they will give you store credit or else refer you to another close store. returning opened music and games and such is onyl allowed if defective.
thats as much as i know from working there over the summer. basically you are gonna ahev to elarn to like it since its already open _________________ |

I feel for ya man. I rented that game from blockbuster expecting good things. I almost cried after about 5 minutes of playing it. _________________

thats why you buy from EB or EBX or EB Games or Gamestop...they refund your money or exchange the game no questions asked for 7 days.

For those of you who havn't played it, Unlimited Saga is like a text adventure with bad graphics. _________________

i was checking out the walmart return policy and it said
Media: CDs, DVDs, audiotapes, videotapes and video games must be returned unopened within 45 days of receipt.
Ok, when it says unopened, do they mean by the case or what? i ripper off the plastic cover thingy and played it once, so does that mean i could return it? they expect us to buy something and return it without using it, heh, real smart. OH LOOKIE, i spent 25$ on a thing and it has to be UNOPENED when i return it! |

I opened my Call of Duty jewel case(2 CD's) just like the hundreds of others in the past and tried to remove the CD, only with this case, the CD's were stuck to the middle bracket that holds them in place.
Hmmm, when I tried to gently pry it out don't you know the freaking thing cracked on it's edge
Use my excuse "The cheaply made CD-rom cracked upon removing it from the case! _________________ http://www.nosmacktards.com |

you took the plastic off...done deal. and as for unopened merch, that is only with regards to those types of media. The oens that coudl be copied after you buy it and return it. you could very well buy other things and return it at 89 days ( the regular return policy) and get a new one. not here though.
if you did use species tactics then all you woudl get is a new verison of the same crappy game. sorry, sol on this one bud. maybe a tantrum and some dumb associates will pull you through... _________________ |

remember when you were in preschool and some kid knocked your 3 level lego castle over?
throw one of those tantrums. that got your teacher to sit there with you for an hour rebuilding it while the kid sat in the corner. _________________

No store will take back a game or software after it has been opened for obvious reasons... They were right in what they said if you ask me. You could have rented the game first and then you wouldnt be in this position... If the game didnt work right from the start, as someone stated, then they would give you another copy or refer you to another branch. |

just informed by my brother ( who works at a wal-mart courtesy desk) that target ( tar-jey) is even more strict about returns than wal-mart. There are many things you can return without a receipt at the WM but tarjey will not.
omg why do i keep bringing this back up _________________ |
