Interesting responses to ASF

Here are some responses that Ive gotten from friends, family, and the web about AmericanSpecialForces (my game and brain child) - the website is almost up and running, webhost problems caused a delay in many things (including modeling). Some are actually funny.

- I think its a great idea for a game... Got a release date yet?

- Wow this will work when it finally comes out. The graphics may not be professional but it will be fun all the same if you can get it right.

- I heard that there was a helicopter shot down in Iraq, I hope that when you join the American army you'll be on a helicopter and it will be shot down as well. I hate you guts and hope you die, infidel bas%^#.

- Your the most patriotic person that Ive ever met!

- OMG you like wanna be like James Bond!

- I hope you die some day in a firery death, infidel scum.

- Geeze... Amazing ideas if you can actually make it then itll be amazing! Definatly ground breaking in some areas.

- Get why I gave you gift cirtificates to a local art store? You should go into ART instead of other things...

- if you join the army and continue in this pro-American bullshit then I will be forced to disown you.

- I wanna assassinate George W. Bush! Seriously, I have a plan and everything!

- I hope I meet you in America and kill you.

- I think the entire idea of you joining the army and making this game is great. Its very honorable to be considering the possibility of service time with the world the way it is today.

- keep doing what your doing! I think youll make an excellent soldier if you choose to do so, or an amazing graphics artist. I plan on seeing in ten years: HALO IX, Graphics Artists: - person, Joe Harper, - person.

Hmm... There are many many more. Anyway, Ill post up when the comunity is up and running! I hope to get the forums functioning with a kick ass army template option - though I need to figure out where I can find one or what a good template would look like.

Lol the infidel bas%^# is actually from the US thats the funny thing

... I dont know really, it just seems that alot of people dont seem to like the idea that its focusing on the american special forces.... Id say that people are just plain use to the states not really being involved in world affairs, to the point that when the states actually gets involved - like people want - they dont recieve it every well and believe it as being wrong, policing, etc.
