I just want to know where all these SG killers were before we started keeping track of it. Because it sure seemed like you, I and Frag and a handfull of others were the only ones who bothered taking out SGs. I know it was a lot easier keeping a SG up then it is now
Good job Sword. It ust shows that sword is a good player who plays based on the current concept of good. His play style was created by the way the skill rating was calculated. Now that the Ville has put importance on a diffferent play style, he is going after that title.
That's OK Bada, I know you were King of the SG killers before it was the IN thing to do. |

I found several of these wanted posters in the soapbox and I think I saw one posted in the deathroom on Avanti too.
Keep your filthy hands off my SG!!!

I knew that a sg killa award would make people play harder and help their team out :smile:Good old Munkey came up with a way to keep track of sg kills and the rest is history

Congrats to you Sword! Excellent job! You have gotten frighteningly close to my one day total of 175 downed. Now I know that record will be smashed. The race is on! Dad, I have always taken out sg's. Only, before my primary character was engy! hehehe I have been trying new characters the past few weeks and that has led me to demo. Demo takes out sg's like their little wooden soapboxes! Also is has a lot to do with neither one of us being afraid to die.
I'm sure Dad or Bada prolly have hit higher than 500 since they've been here. I just do it because it's hilarious! When I notice that engys have stopped building sg's. . . .I know I have done my job!
Sword has been tromping engys relentlessly. He is an excellent player in every aspect of the word. I tip my hat to you Sword. Now let's beat that measly 508 eh? Let's go for 600!
P.S. Sorry engys.

It's hazardous to be an engi now and it's damn funny too, I just finished a game of Avanti and although we won I had to work my little engi ass off like never before it seemed like everybody wanted the sg kill instead of the flag cap.
I mean at one point I had an scout running in circles around my sg and beating it with his crowbar LOL.... . I felt like Steve Martin in the movie "The Jerk" where he was saying "the cans... the cans... he's mad at the cans"
It's pretty interesting how even though the stats are gone as we knew them people are still seaking recognition anyway they can, the hot item right now as I have learned is the sg kills, I think it's just healthy human nature.
I really have to agree that teamplay has increased 100% and it is more fun to play this way I LIKE IT!
If your still reading this you have too much time on your hands so I'll occupy some more.
Brave move Rob.... who knew it would feel so right?
I like to look at the analogy like this:
Rob was like a father figure giving us medicine that tasted bad while telling us it's for our own good and it will make us feel better, out of faith we swallowed it and BAM the statwhore virus was eradicated.

Ktulu,
Your post has made me realize a couple things. One, I have actually capped more flags then I have ever have! It's a direct result of destroying all the enemy D. Two, I do not want to be responsible for directing players attention to only destroying sg's. I did it for giggles and ended up destroying way more than I thought I would. I do not want recognition for just destroying sg's to be on "top of the list". That's not why I did it. I want recognition for just being me.
So I am not going to try and break my record. Or race aginst others in destroying sg's. I want to try and keep this renewed sense of TPF alive! I set a personal record and for "me", I am happy knowing I could accomplish such a task. When I play, I try to create gaps in the enemy defense. This way my team has a better chance of getting the flag. Most do not notice what I do the whole game but, I know when my team caps that flag that I helped make it happen.
That's what it's all about. Busting your balls (sorry ladies) over and over again just to help out your team. All without recognition or needing to hear someone say, "TY". I hope Sword can reach 600, for me it would be an amazing thing to see. So, back to my engy. I miss him so. I feel so bad for turning against my engy brothers. Frag on everyone and keep the TPF alive.

You should have different classes for sg killing. Example: Heavy class: HWG, Soldier, Demo. Medium class: Pyro, Medic, Spy, Sniper. Light class: Scout, Engineer.
Just an idea

Focusing on destroying sgs is the whole point to TFC.If the sgs are destroyed you can cap a point or get the flag and try to cap it.

KRG I really, really did not entend on my post taken as a bad thing, like I said above... "It's healthy human nature", it was just an observation And congrats on the sg kills for you and svvord both, and I certainly was not complaining about the sg kills I like being busy and on full alert the whole time the game is much more intense, so frag all my sg's.... shit I'll even take screen shots for you after I emp your ass
p.s. how do you like my sg hat above?

I just saw that too Species. 195 SG KILLS. HOLY CRAP!!!! I was in a game with him and very impressed with his spy skillz. He also got into the battlefield and played. I think his kill:death ratio was 2:1. WOW!!!
