Heh, it could be, but it would be from a much different vantage point than I had. I can't see the Hindo Kush mountains, and there's a huge forested area right in the middle of the city, but I didn't see it.

I just assumed that the caption on the photo said that it was the Communications Hill for the IASF. That would denote that it is Kabul, since the IASF does not go out of the region of Kabul. |

2671 Cryptologic Arabic and Persian Linguist. I've also at times been a 2643 - Persian/Arabic Translator (I know, sounds the same, but they're different), and an LAV Commander for a MEWSS Variant LAV.

I guessing as a linguist you intercept and translate transmissions?
I tested for the language stuff in boot camp and failed miserably
