no text?

i just got DOD working again, but for some reason i can't see the text that people type, nor can i see my own. i know someone had this problem not too long ago, and suggestions would be appreciated.

I had it happen also and had to change the steam skin back to default.

Do you have the default skin if not you need to change it to default

When in doubt blame Steam. Thats what I do.
