Strafe Problems

okay guys heres my problem....well for some reason whenever i strafe it doesnt seem to stop...it just either keeps going until it decides to stop or when i have to press the button a million times before i finally stops......any one know whats wrong with this or if there are anything i can do to fix this..? please help....

What is your strafe key bound to? You could try typing "unbind x" and then typing "bind x +moveleft" or +moveright in your console.

Are your keys possibly sticking?

Try binding another key to strafe and see if it does the same thing,

Are you running any new scripts? If you are, try deactivating them and play the game again.

You must be refering to DOD. The same thing happens to me on occasion so feel better that it is not isolated to you. I'm not sure if it is related to ping, choke, or anything else. I haven't researched it just yet. I will keep an eye on this post in case someone has.

It happens to me in TFC some times... Jumping or ducking usually fixes it right away.
