I wonder what million dollar problem will happen this time. Wasnt it the British who landed the mars thing?! I thought they got one there too but it wasnt sending any data back. Maybe its those dang martians again! Or its an evil guy like in James Bond movies where they take spaceships right out of the air !! |

Its going to be 9 days until they drive it off the landing mat!
It would seem that with a planet with "weather" it would be smart to get moving right away. _________________ Only in America......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering. |

We landed one last summer and lost it on the landing and yes the British just attempted last month to land Beagle2, but were unsuccessfull. |

And they can die horrible deaths, but will be remembered forever by an expensive memorial built in their honor as we carry in our hearts and thoughts the beautiful service they did for their lovely country, the end. _________________

I stated before hand that we did land one and lost it last summer. This is the first SUCCESSFULL landing. British also tried a month or two ago and lost theirs as it was preparing to land. |

Ummm, actually, this is the 2nd successful landing. We landed the Sojourner rover a couple of years ago. It operated for 90 some odd days, far outlasting what NASA's expectations were at the time. Sojourner was actually a very small, remote control car sized robot.

I didn't know they put a rover down, I thought it was just a telescope taking pictures. My apologies. |
