I have been able to play this game many times on my pc until now.
For whatever reason my BF1942 dosnt want to load anymore. I insert the CD and get the normal options play, uninstall, read me, ea help etc. Then I click play and the next picture I see is the initial Battlefield 1942 as it starts to load. Then my pc clicks a few times like its starting to load and it reverts right back to my desktop.
I've tried to uninstall and it made no difference.
Any help would be appreciated.
pc specs
OS Windows ME
900 mhz AMD Duron
384 ram
Nivida G4 Ti 4600 video card

Maybe the mode you are running video card in opengl vs 3d

Well its fixed.
For some reason my video card and directx 9.0 were not communicating 
I re-updated my drivers and all is well.
