I have a WinTV card. Works great, software is kind of cheasy. If you are going to buy one I would suggest looking into the ATI video/TV cards. Its getting harder to find motherboards with enough slots nowdays, so buying a combine card helps out. Also I believe WinTV made a USB version, so that you did not have to take up a PCI slot. Also great for switching back and forth between your PC and Laptop. |

Do you mean being able to hook your computer up to your TV? If so, then my computer allows that. It's fun at first, but overall quality is decreased (moniters are better than TV's in most cases) and it loses its shine after awhile. _________________

He was talking about showing the computer screen on a TV, the other way around. _________________

Stevo i already have PC to TV, which is why i want this because im using the tv for gaming i need a tv now ^^. Also i want to hook the tuner up to a vcr and use it to make copies of my vhs movies onto my comp and make vcd's and svcd's out of them so i can watch them on a dvd player. Also if i wanna hook up my snes or basically any gaming console i can do so and make movies with them . but after lookin that links and stuff i think im gonna get the TV Wonder Pro PCI TV-Tuner and Video Capture Card. its 63$. _________________

BRN, if u are gonna do things like im thinkin of doing, the gaming console, or the VHS recordings, you will have to hook the card upto a VCR via cable instead of going into the wall, the vcr would be needed for it has the 3 plugs for svideo and audio of the console, and the VHS for obvious reasons lol, just a tip. _________________

Two things, if you are going to spend $65 on that card, you are wasting your money. I have seen that card everywhere for only $50 and I don't know if it is still going on, but there was also a $10 rebate for that card when I bought it. If you have a radeon video card, you can have the entire TV blended over your desktop so you can watch TV while doing work or browsing the web. You can also plug in the gaming console directly into the TV tuner because it has a video input on it and an adapter for plugging in the audio input into your computer. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time.
