And where did they get the songs from? Wouldnt they have to pay royalties as well? And if their not on a station, then would they be from a less legit source? These are all questions that have just stirred in potato's mind... This reminds me of the saying "If I only had a brain....". |

There's around 500 songs at the moment that it picks randomly from. All of the haven't been uploaded yet so theres more coming. _________________

1. The songs come from encoded copies of legitimately owned cd's. They are not being shared, traded or being used for any sort of profit.
2. Since the channel (and all shoutcast type's are too) is techically private. Royalites don't come into play. Royalties do come into play if it's played on a radio station or in a public venue. For example, a bowling alley does in fact have to pay to play music in public. Most places choose satellite radio because it is cheaper than paying the royalites. The RIAA has even "fined" small business owners because they are broadcasting a "radio" station in public.
They wonder why they aren't liked. They take something that was free and expressive as music. They turned it into power, money, suing and fines. _________________ Yes, I'm still around
