to all admins.. why would we play at the ville if we didnt want to have stats.. stats is a great part of this game.. and whoever plays here allot i know loves to check there stats after hours of fraggin.. we should have a poll to get the stats back.. anyway thats my 2 cents for now.. later

this is one of the best servers because of the fact it has stats. it is fun to try to climb into the top 50. i thought it was ten times better to see rankings.

yeah.. i knew other ppl felt this way.!!.. and yeah this is the best team fortress group of players ive ever played at... ive been playing tf for 4 years now.. i should now.. and when i found this place.. omg.. so fun.. cuz everything i did was recorded.. and i give super props to the webmaster.. for running all these stats and servers

if you dont like to look at the player rankings then why dont you just not click on player rankings. you can chose your name by search and looka t your stats

This is an online community, the point of taking off stats is to satisfy a growing majority of players here at the Ville, not the Stat head minority. If you want to climb stats, check out QCL(or whatever it's called), otherwise just be content with the fact that you get to frag with TFC elite here. I doubt you'll find much better players anywhere else. At least you can see who you've fragged now.
{edit} afum, with the site the way it was, we had to look at the top 5. Perhaps if the top 5 was not on the front page, it wouldn't be such a big deal.{end edit}

Hi guys, I also think the ville is 10 times better with stats. Where else can you find a webpage that keeps stats for 5 different servers with such great players? I know you took the stats off to promote team play, but why not just schedule the cup or something similar to promote team play? Then you will see who plays the game the way it's supposed to be played and who just plays for stats.

I like stats but I think there should be a time input. Like the more kills you get in a less amount of time... or something to that extent... I'm sure it would send eagle eyes down the list a couple spots...hehe.
Anyway just a thought.

Why does everyone have to rag on EagleEyes? He's got a pretty lousy connection some times, so he hangs back. I'd rather have him or Svvord in back cleaning house, than some reckless guy who keeps dying to get them. I think that The Ville has a reputation of having high quality players, that in and of itself is enough to bring in more talent. Just look at all the n00bs lately, they don't come back because of the stats, they come to play in a llama free environment with a great bunch of regulars. Many regulars don't even know about the stats, or care. They just want to play. I for one, love the way the stats are now, it shows how many kills you've had, and who you've killed, as well as all the weapon challenges to attempt, what else do you need?

I have a simple question for you stat lovers. Why do you like stat rankings so much?. You can still see how well your doing in your own opinion by searching for your name. There is also daily awards and action statistics, which I think is great. I am really glad to see stat rankings go and thank the admins very much for their work. Ranking people by stats promote statheads who try to boost their stats by not really playing the game. Is it THAT much fun to pull your hair out and play like a sissy (not a reference to all high ranked players) just to appear above another player. I don't think so. Once again thank you admins for the removal of stat rankings !!!

Let's be honest. No stat system I've seen is perfect. I used live and die on the stats (the best damn one time potw you'll EVER see.) It took away from the fun of the game though. It got old. I think everyone knows who the good players are or aren't by the rep here.

People should NOT rag on EagleEyes if it's a serious ragging (note Snay's humorous ragging, which is different.) I really don't see him hanging back as much as others do. He's among the few players that also took the time out to show me a few things about solider on the mulch. It's appreciated. I just didn't expect the reaction he gave on the post with BC69, but that's over and done with.
