everytime i join a game of natural selection, i get disconnected almost as soon as im in the game, and i get an error saying "disconnected due to reliable channel overflowed"
wtf does that mean, and how do i fix it?

oh oh!! I get the exact same thing!! I have no idea how to fix it though, just thought I'd mention that it isn't just you.

Ahhh. That would be it. NS 2.01 is not the most stable program with steam. It is something with the NS codeing. With in the next 2 weeks 3.0 will be out and that does work with steam. If you want to play NS now, you are best off with a Won server

The Ville NS is WON not STEAM. STEAM will be standard in NS 3.0 about Christmas time.
Most all NS servers are WON not steam.

type the following in your userconfig.cfg and you won't see it anymore.
alias "ex_maxerrordistance" ""
