After 3 years and thousands of hours of gaming at the Ville, I'm packing it in. There are way too many people to acknowledge for a truly wonderful time but I'm sincere in offering my thanks to every one of you who made an effort to be friendly.

Damn this is hard to do. I really liked it here. From my perspective things just seem to get worse in one way and stay the same in another.
However the straw that broke this camel's back was being passed over as an admin. I can't get any more honest than that. To be sure there were many other things that brought me to this point but that finished me off. I thought I was regarded in a better light. I thought I was credible and demonstrated I could handle and even thrive on the responsibility.

Anyway, I've seen them come and go over the years and I suppose I’m no different. So I'll suck in some air and move on. Again, thank you all.

However, I would just like to add that seniority, respect, and responsibility alone generally do not qualify anyone for adminship. Look at most of the admins here. They either provide a server (or have done so at one time), have enormous post counts, are knowledgable in programming, or is the founder of TVB ;p. If none of that came into play, there are plenty more people who should be admins, e.g. Pornstar.
