Hey, Sully, good to hear from you here. Used to enjoy soldiering with you on TV (AV then).
John Carter, nice pick of birthdays. I'll be 46 on Friday, 9/7! It's also Buddy Holly's birthday, on which there is ample musical celebration in Lubbock Texas (musical trivia nobody gives a $#!@ about).
Amazing how poeple pour forth here. Breaks through the strange kind of anonymity inherent to internet interaction. Will be interesting when 1.1.0.8 comes out and we hear each others' voices!

Real name, Ken Barlow age 36. I am an Audio/Visual Technician at the largest Casino in North America, Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut. Been there about 8 years. I am also a freelance soundman working for local bands in clubs in the area on weekends for exra cash. I used to work for Rick Derringer and Tesla(1 tour in 95). Gave up th road because of my daughter who turned 7 today.
I am getting married to the most beautiful girl named Melissa on Oct 13. She used to get pissed that I play alot of TFC late at night when she sleeps but she kind of got used to it.
The Ville servers are the ABSOLUTE best place to play TFC on the net. I started playing TFC 1 year ago when I got cable but have played HL since it was released in 98. I think I have more custom HL maps installed in my HL directory then anyone. Last count was around 300. I haven't played HL since I had the bandwidth to play TFC. I have only about 35 custom TFC maps so far but I am always looking for good ones. Wish I took the time to learn how to make custom maps but never got around to it. My computer skills are self taught
As far as a 30+ clan goes, I would be interested if you think I am good enough and would have me. I used to belong to a Homeworld club OMO (Old Men Online). Thats it, See ya in the Ville.

Hey. Im 15 and am currently in 10th grade. I live in NJ and my real name is George. I got my nickname from starcraft. My fav unit was the dt, so that was my name and i use it in all the games i play online.
I learned to LOVE tfc and the ville after i would come home from baseball practice and be tired as hell. i wouldnt want to move, so i would sit at the comp and play tfc. Im pretty boring cuz i play baseball all year round and train in the winter, so i really dont get out much cuz im usually stuck in baseball or too tired. im usually a sniper cuz for some reason i love the idea of a sniper. i guess im weird like that.

Wait, Demented...you worked with TESLA!?!?
Didn't he die in 1943 (ish) ?
Wouldn't that make a partnership kinda difficult? Just kind of courious, what did you mean? |

I used to work, but I quit after someone attempted to caulk his hand to a chair. ever since then I've spent most of my time with my girlfriend and playing TFC and now...SCHOOL HELL. My schedule is a nightmare beyond belief, but I find working hard and then playing is much more rewarding in the long run |

Working with the man would hav been more impressive, but seeing how he IS dead, I guess you had to settle.... |

Glad to see so many mature (old) people playing TFC. I'm all for a mature clad on theville. I guess the next step in the evolution of things is for everyone to send in a picture (preferbly a head-shot) of themselves. Then we would really see what the person behind the weapon looks like. What does everybody think? |

Saw this post in a link from the 1000th thread, and thought I'd try to revive it.
In real life, I'm a 21 year old college student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. My name is Joe and I'm an advertising major with a possible web dev minor. I've had a computer around my house since my dad brought home the Commodor 64 back in the day. I'm more of a Mac guy, I even have an original SE from the mid 80's. Anyway, I'm a drummer in a punk/emo band, and I DJ *with actual records*. I'm somewhat of a music junkie, I was going to teach music, but didn't feel like capping my salary before I get out of college. I'm really shy when it comes to girls, so I make an @$$ of myself around them to try to get a laugh out of them. I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan. ROTJ was the first film I ever saw in a theater. My nickname is a character in the first film. I was tossing around lots of obscure references, like Anaman or Pote Snitkin, but Snaggletooth just sortof rolls off the tounge.
