I would recommend looking for a case here also:

Then you should vote for it lol.

I looked at #2 and didn't see a case. It looked like there was no case. I voted for it anyway.

Well Twisted, my thoughts are to get a decent power supply (Enermax, Antec...there are others) and a decent case with good airflow. If you go with a Black or Aluminum case matching components (CD, CDRW, DVD, Floppy drive) would be nice but if you dont want to do that then go with the Thermaltake case as everything is hidden by the door and it wont matter as much if they dont match. Yes, asthetics are important when your upgrading your PC

Um, as for which of those cases I like it all depends on a number of circumstances. I like the Lian Li if you have a good power supply to add to it and matching components. I like the Thermaltake if you dont wish to get matching components but need a good power supply still. I dont like the Enermax case for two reasons, the window looks like a daisy and although the case is a Enermax the power supply included is gawd only knows who's brand.

An alternative I would recommend is to look at Antecs line of cases which include their power supplies. I do like the Sonata due to its reliable power supply and overall quietness but there are lots of different options from Antec.

Just my thoughts, have fun shopping.

I have a case similar to #1. Different side cutout though. I went with one without a PS though and got my own.

well i picked #1, but that may just be because i have one in black. the window looks better in person than online and great with CCs inside. but if your looking to make the insides look nicer(wraps or UV paint) i wouldn't get it..the window shape & side fan cuts off too much of the view.

also, the front usb ports & headphones are useful if you use a joystick/controller/headphones to play games. One other detail that some prefer, the drive bays dont slide in and out but instead screw in with many many screws, if that matters to you.

have fun

Those first two are pretty wild looking. And I have always heard good things about Lian Li. Just a note, I did buy an Antec Sonata for my machine and it works great, but I wish it was a little bigger. It was a little tricky getting my hands in there to work on it. But it does have a nice Power Supply and big low RPM fans to keep the noise down.

I guess the only thing I can't figure out from your choices is how your components will look when installed. Unless you get the black Lian Li and buy the CD drive with a black bezel, won't a beige drive look weird in those aluminum cases? Just wondering. I currently only have a CD burner in mine and I have been waiting to get a DVD burner. There are some great ones now for cheap, but I can't find any with a black bezel. I don't like keeping the door on mine, so I guess I will wait some more.

I was thinking the same thing Finger....I cant find a lot of of the components I want in black...so I'm going to end up with a beige case.

I have a few friends who swear by Lian Li, but I can't justify the cost. I'll probably end up with #1, or a case by RaidMax that ive been looking at.
