Replace the mascot with the condom. Since its ok to teach that in school, but not some violent raiding Greek. |

These kinds of people make me laugh. They recently made the basketball team at my school get new shorts since we had a head of a Warrior Brave the side since our team name is the Warriors. A parent complained that we were depicting Native Americans as a warrior like people. I just wonder if anyone would have complained if we had put a mean looking Viking warrior or a knight. That would be depicting their respective cultures as warriorlike as well. |
Yep Indians are peacefull. They never warred against each other. It was that bastard Columbus that brought war to the New World. Again, no it wasn't the Indians that enslaved fellow Indians, sacreficed them to gods or even ate human flesh. They are a more superior culture and civilization which is why this the good old United Indian Tribes of America eeerrr wait a minute? /sacrasm. Those who deny (rewrite) history are doomed to repeat it. Some of the Indian civilizations did make great strides like the Mayans and Aztecs. But it was built on the back of slaves, war and cruelty like so many other cultures around the world. Slavery is a blight that has been around not long after the begining of time. It took Western civilization a few centuries ago to see its evil and start the road to eradicate it. But Slavery still presist. Either in the Female Prostitute Slave Trade of the Balkans or the Christian Slaves of the Southern Sudan. Yet its the US culture that gets attack, anything the people in the US do to try to appease this idiots is never enough. Today its ban the Master/Slave terminalogy, tomorrow it will be something you hold so dear to your heart that they will ask you to give up. I get tired fo the African Americans that are still living back in the 1700-1800s. As if slavery had never occurred until they were carted off to the New World. As if 400 odd members of my Scottish side of family were not mudered in the night because they refused to bend a knee to an English King. As if by the thousands of my Irish side were not persecuted in the from of Genocide by the Tudors and other Englishmen. DO I ask for reparations, NO piss on that. They need to stop listening to nay-sayers like Jesse Jackson and listen to leaders of hope like Jesse Peterson. Hold their head up high and march forward towards progress and stop living in the past. I have only come across a few racist people. They are either dumb idiots who keep their heads buried in the sand or are old people who have old habits that die hard. Almost all white people I know are color blind when it comes to skin.
My apologies for the long rant. I guess the repression form all these Master drives on Slave drives in this Data Center I work in is getting to me. |

Why don't people realise that everything has more than one meaning. I mean if it were White and Black drives, I'd agree, but master and slave was never meant to offend anyone. They are just terms to identify parts. Why bother with stupid complaints like that?

Never mind that! I wonder if their going to force virus creators to change the class of their trojan viruses! Or would they make a computer hardware company change the description of their "black" DVD-ROM to something else?
