| yeah, i just read that article too. even if they do change it, techs will still refer it as "master and slave" drives. So what's the point? Unless my job is on the line, i am still going to call it "master and slave" drives! |

OMG! WTH IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE IN LIFE! Gah! Its terminology not an actual slave-master relationship. The master tells the slave to do this and the slave does it no questions asked. Whats the problem here? Last time I checked computers didnt have feelings.

Seriously the terms Master and Slave make sence, master is the main hard drive used the slave is a back up for saving information onto their is no need for people to be refering to bak in the day becuase thats gone past and this time it fits the terms

These kinds of people make me laugh. They recently made the basketball team at my school get new shorts since we had a head of a Warrior Brave the side since our team name is the Warriors. A parent complained that we were depicting Native Americans as a warrior like people. I just wonder if anyone would have complained if we had put a mean looking Viking warrior or a knight. That would be depicting their respective cultures as warriorlike as well.
