This is the game of the year to watch and I have enjoyed watching it the past few years just so that I can pick on Robert E. Lee or JohnCarterofMars depending on who wins. And guess what, the bastards are not going to show it this year......I can watch LSU at Mississippi, big frickin deal....Ohio State at Michigan, why would I care? Or I could watch UCLA at USC, WTF, do they think I am stupid?

Sheesh, I only wanna watch one US Collage game a year and they wont even televise it for me!

Oh well, I guess I am just stuck watching the Edmonton Oilers and the Montreal Canadiens play the first NHL game played outdoors in something like 100 years! Oh, and I get to watch the Oilers allstars play earlier in the afternoon too.

Best stock up on the beer and nachos now before the mad rush on Saturday morning.

Cheers all, Roll Tide!

Well, beer & nachos will help, but there's nothing like a true rivalry game this time of the year to get the juices flowing.

USC-UCLA = Too SoCal-ish
Neb-Okla = Yeah, sure that will be a close one
Texas-Tex A & M = Usually amusing
Ore-Ore St = Diluted this year

I got to see Ole Miss play Alabama this year down in Oxford. Actually, I got to see the last few minutes of the game cause we got lost in Memphis on the way down......but that's a whole different story. Ole Miss kicked the crud out of the Crimson Tide, but I still thought it was a decent game. Now here's my question: Do all people in the south go to football games the way the rebs do? I mean these guys were all dressed up, the girls were in those hot sunday dresses that they wear to church (I'm being sarcastic in case anyone's confused), and I noticed that the color pink was used profusely, and not just by the women. I had thought I was going to a ballgame, so I wore shorts and a t-shirt, but I was apparently confused. Don't get me wrong, everyone still ate brats and drank beer after the game in the grove, but hell, I felt like I was the poor kid at a high class church luncheon or something.

Some fans at TCU do that, but on the whole everybody wears casual that is appropriate for the weather. I don't understand why anybody would wear their Sunday best to sit on hard dirty metal benches. I think SMu is the same. Can't speak for the other Texas schools. I would imagine that the Rabid Chokehorns dress pretty grungy, but who knows.

Probably has something to do with Bama's poor record. But as good as Auburn is doing you would think they would show it. You could follow the game on ESPN's website. I had to do that for the TCU/USM game, since I don't have cable.

I am afraid the game of the week is LSU vs. Ole Miss...so much is riding on that game..LSU if they win can perhaps get to the national championship or contend for one the major bowls so they have a lot riding on this...Ole Miss if they win will get higher in the rankings and if Oklahoma was to some how by hell freezing over lose Eli Manning would win the heisman trophy but only if he beats LSU...lots of huge implications from this game...the TCU/USM game was awesome..i was so divided i wanted USM to win cause i love Southern but at the sametime i wanted TCU to go undefeated (oh come on SMU isn't even a contest i know i go to school there) so that the BCS could go down in flames and we could finally have a playoff...oh well. Though if Ohio State loses to Michigan they will be knocked out of playing for the national championship...which isn't a bad thing since Oklahoma is going to humilate whomever they play...
