DoD v1.1 changes

Ok, two things.

1. why is my merderet.wad not a wadfile anymore? and how do I fix it?

2. escape differs now, why? If the update was supposed to update everything, why didn't it update escape?

I hate valve.

Steam has stopped working on my system as of last night. I only get a message that "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. With the following:

I have tried deleting the ClientRegistry.blob file and letting it update again, but as soon as it updates BAM!! I get the same Flaming Hell message.

so I checked my dod file, and I don't even have merderet.wad Can anyone give it to me? I really dislike steam now, BTW.
